Children are naturally motivated to make things happen, and to succeed in their different attempts towards independence is of great importance. When the efforts gives a good feeling the child will continue to develop its expertise. Parents and caregivers can assist this development by being the guiding force who advice and give suggestions, share and explain feelings and deliver upbeat positive feedback.
